Service Response Guidelines
1 Hour – Within one hour of notice of loss, one of SERVPRO of South Atlanta’s loss coordinators will contact you to arrange for service.
4 Hours – Within four hours of loss notification, SERVPRO of South Atlanta will be on-site to start mitigation services (if necessary).
8 Hours – Within eight business hours, we will initiate a verbal briefing of the scope of damage and needed mitigation efforts.
*While these guidelines are a good way to ensure that all of our customers are taken care of properly, SERVPRO of South Atlanta strives for greatness and averages less than a two hour turn-around-time when responding to emergency water or fire service requests.
Let's take a look at the first part of our Service Response Guideline, “Within one hour of notice of loss, one of SERVPRO of South Atlanta’s loss coordinators will contact you to arrange for service.” What does this mean? This means that no matter what time you call, day or night, your call will be answered by a SERVPRO of South Atlanta team member, and that technicians can be immediately dispatched to your location ready to start extracting water, mitigating damage, and restoring your home or business. Our loss coordinator will gather information about your water loss like: Is there standing water on-site? How many levels are affected? What type of flooring is affected? What year was the structure built? Are utilities like electrical power and water available on-site? We gather this information to better prepare our highly trained technicians and allow them to equip their service vehicle with the appropriate equipment.
The second part of the Service Response Guideline, “Within four hours of loss notification, SERVPRO of South Atlanta will be on-site to start mitigation services (if necessary).” This section is pretty cut and dry. Within four hours of notification of the loss, SERVPRO of South Atlanta will be on-site to stabilize the affected area(s) and start the remediation/restoration process.
